Compassion International Countries: Where We Work

Poverty crosses borders, spanning across the globe. But hope can do the same. Compassion is sharing the hope of Jesus around the world with children living in poverty. Currently, there are 29 Compassion International countries served (and counting!).

Compassion International Countries: Sharing the Good News With the Nations

Jesus commissioned us to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15, NIV).” That’s why we work to share the good news in word and action with nations stricken by poverty around the world.

Compassion partners with local churches in impoverished communities throughout Africa, Asia, Central America, the Caribbean and South America. With the local church and the support of child sponsors around the globe, we introduce vulnerable children to Jesus as we meet their critical needs.

By providing nutritious food, medical care, protection and other life-giving essentials, we empower children to reach for freedom from child poverty in Jesus’ name.
