Sharing an Abundance of Love

Justine's devastating childhood led her to Jesus, and now she’s sharing his message.

Justine’s mother was living a nightmare.

She couldn’t provide for her family. Her husband was violent, and when he finally left, she didn’t have enough money to feed her daughter.

The threat of hunger always loomed over their home.

“Due to a lack of food, my mother took me to a family friend, and I would stay there so that I would never die of hunger,” Justine remembers.

Her mother confided in their local pastor, and he immediately stepped in to help. Justine was registered at the Compassion program and was enrolled in school. She developed a community. And most importantly, she heard the gospel.

Hear Justine's incredible story in her own words.

“I would get [something] to eat. I went back to school. I gained friendship, and I was able to give my life to Christ,” she says.

Justine excelled in school and developed a deep love for learning. Today, she works with a nonprofit organization whose mission is to offer more children quality, sustainable Christ-centered education. She is a mother to four, two biological daughters and two adopted daughters.

I think God did a miracle,” she says. “I am able to be employed and help my family.

From her home life to her work life, Justine is an advocate for children. Just as her pastor stepped in for her, she now steps into the lives of others who need to experience the love of Jesus.

“I want my kids to have what I never had when I was young,” she says. “This is the vision my husband and I have, to give love in abundance.”
