How We Work

Our mission is grounded in faith and the teachings of the Bible. We respect and work with individuals from various religions and cultural backgrounds, yet we remain unwavering in our dedication to the transformative power of Jesus Christ.

We partner with local churches because they are cornerstones in their communities. They carry the unique ability to restore comprehensive physical, emotional, relational and spiritual well-being. Together, we strive to improve holistic child development outcomes and foster hope, transforming lives and communities.

Children living in poverty face immense challenges, from a lack of access to basics like sustainable, clean water and education to the emotional and psychological stress that comes with their circumstances. Compassion’s programs strengthen hope as a powerful force for change against these hardships.

Hope builds character, inspires resilience, fuels dreams and drives the efforts of those committed to making a difference.

Compassion systematically measures how experiencing love and kindness increases children’s capacity for personal growth and service to their neighbors. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10, NIV).” Our activities bear witness to Jesus’ love and his desire for all to not just survive but thrive

"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

John 16:33 (NIV)
