Compassion has been forced to close our program in India after nearly 50 years. Join us in praying for the children, families and churches who have lost our support.

Of the 300 million households surveyed in a recent census in India, 73 percent live in villages, and less than 10 percent of villagers have secure, salaried jobs.

Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

Pray that God would provide employment opportunities for those seeking work in remote villages.

Ask God to send abundant crops for the many in rural areas who rely on farming to provide for their families.

Pray for access to medical facilities and schools for children living in villages in India.
