Week 19 - Happy Mother’s Day

Tomorrow we celebrate mothers and the important role they play in our families. Recently, thanks to the Survival Program at a local Compassion-assisted center, this young mother in Sri Lanka learned to embrace that role and find joy in her children. Before joining the program, Sasiliya, hopeless and pregnant, attempted suicide. But through the Survival staff’s love and care, she found new purpose for living: to be the best mom she can be to baby Nithusick!
