Week 25 - Happy Father’s Day

Damião was working in the fields when he received word that his wife was leaving the family. Heartbroken, Damião suddenly found himself a single dad — an overwhelming burden. Thankfully, he had the help and encouragement of the staff at the Compassion center attended by his sons, Davi and Luan. As a result, Damião now has the strength to be the kind of father his children need. "Being a family is being united," he says. "Being with [my children] is what makes me happy."
