Week 11 - The Blue-Eyed Boy

When he was born, Shakul’s Ugandan mother was shocked. He had blue eyes and patches of white skin on his face, hands and feet. Unable to accept her baby’s unusual appearance, she abandoned him. Thankfully, Shakul’s grandmother took him in, and later, the local Compassion center welcomed him with open arms. Today, with a loving sponsor, Shakul is a happy boy, on the path toward a future as bright as his eyes.
