Week 20 - A Grand Reopening

Ninoska, shown in a celebratory shower of confetti, attends the reopening of her Compassion center in Nicaragua after a year of quarantine. To prepare for the reopening, center staff adapted the classrooms and schedule to accommodate smaller gatherings of children. They also installed hand-washing sinks with soap and hand sanitizer. Although the children are required to wear masks and practice social distancing while at the center, they are thrilled to be back!
