Vice President of People and Culture Partners
Apryl leads P&C Partnerships, a global team of strategic HR partners for Compassion’s workforce. They equip and empower individuals, leaders and teams to pursue Compassion’s mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
Apryl has over 20 years of professional human resources experience leading HR functions across diverse organizational settings. In 2013, she began her journey with Compassion by successfully leading and optimizing the talent acquisition and HR teams. Today, Apryl is focused on workforce wellness and development while strategically aligning and prioritizing business outcomes.
Apryl graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in human development. She is currently pursuing a Master of Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
Apryl strives to enable others to embrace their true potential:
“One of the greatest gifts I can give is to listen, guide and coach others to follow God’s leading and become who he has called them to be — personally, professionally and spiritually. I have a deep care for people and their success. When you are 100% for another (one of our Cultural Behaviors at Compassion), it allows you to speak truth, ask questions and help others see possibilities that sometimes they cannot see for themselves.”
Apryl and her husband have been married since 1998 and live in Colorado with their three children. Apryl enjoys traveling, photography, gardening and 4X4 off-roading.
