Flooding in Ziway, Ethiopia

In December 2023, continuous heavy rains damaged properties and houses of people in Ziway, Ethiopia. The flash flood and wind damaged and destroyed several homes. To date, 5 participants have been impacted. Thankfully, everyone is healthy. The Child Development Centers (CDCs) provided the affected participants and their families with food, blankets and bed sheets. The community in the surroundings made contributions of materials, money and donations to the affected community members, including the affected participants.
