Benton Roofing Builds on Child Sponsorship

Benton Roofing specializes in commercial and industrial rooftop installation and maintenance throughout the southeast. Family-owned, the company is run by Caleb Benton whose father, Roger started the company in 1978. The company is deeply rooted in Christian values with a commitment to giving back. "It’s important that we do our absolute best in serving our customers, our communities and God," says Caleb.

Benton Roofing supports a variety of initiatives across Compassion. The company began its relationship with Compassion in 2016 by sponsoring children in Ecuador. Since that time, Benton Roofing has provided funding for building projects including kitchens, dining rooms and playgrounds.

Benton Roofing gets its entire employee community involved in its work with Compassion. Each month, team members gather to write personal letters to the sponsored children and collect items each may need. They also read recent letters that the children have sent to them. "It’s a special opportunity for our company to come together and participate in an activity that is impacting lives and sharing God’s love," says Caleb. Recently, the company hosted a Compassion graduate to share his story of achievement and inspiration.
