This quarter, your support made an incredible difference in the lives of expectant and new mothers in Togo, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia. Through your generosity and our partnership with local churches, we're transforming communities by providing essential prenatal care, safe childbirth services and nurturing support throughout the critical first year of life. Follow along as we share the inspiring stories of Davi, Yasmina and Wagaye — three young mothers who’ve benefitted greatly from your compassion.
"Since joining the Compassion [Nurturers] program, my life and that of my baby have changed immensely. When I was struggling after my husband’s accident to afford even one prenatal checkup, Compassion was there. They taught me how to have a good marital life, supported my small business and provided vital health checks during my pregnancy. Thanks to Compassion, I now have hope and a brighter future."
"I am very grateful because [Compassion Nurturers] have been here for me. They have provided milk, and milk means life. The babies needed milk. They cried a lot and lost weight. I couldn’t breastfeed them. But now it is well, and I am very grateful for their support. I hope they will keep on helping the babies and me. I know that they will not cover all our needs, but our basic needs will be provided. So, I am very happy."
Experience the joy of community and shared hopes through the eyes of Wagaye, a first-time mom in Ethiopia. In her heartfelt letter, she expresses how the Compassion Nurturers program at her local church became a cherished lifeline during her pregnancy, through childbirth and in being a new mom. Wagaye found a circle of support among other moms and moms-to-be who understood her fears, celebrated her excitement and provided guidance on childbirth and newborn care.

Pray for Yasmina's triplets in Burkina Faso, that the nourishing milk and support from Compassion Nurturers will continue to sustain their health and growth.
Join Davi from Togo in praising God for the vital prenatal care she received through Compassion, which guided her through a safe pregnancy and childbirth. Pray for more mothers to have access to these essential medical services.
