How Can I Help Children in Need?
Children and youth living in poverty need safe places to live and play. They need nutritious food and clean water. They need educational opportunities and a chance to dream. They need caregivers who know them, love them and protect them. And they need the hope only found in Jesus.
Through our Child Sponsorship Program, you can help us deliver all of this and more. By becoming a sponsor, you’ll provide monthly support to a child as they grow and develop into who God has called them to be.
You can also help children in need by making a one-time donation. No amount of support you can give is too great or too small!
How Does Child Sponsorship Help Children?
Child sponsorship enables children to see past their right-now needs and into a brighter future outside of poverty. Through your monthly gift, you help the local church provide nutrition support, medical care, education, protection and love to a child in need.
With their physical, emotional and spiritual needs met, children have the health, confidence and strength to break the vicious cycle of poverty in their lives. And as they grow, they can help others do the same, creating a ripple effect of impact that can last generations.
All Compassion-sponsored children have the opportunity to develop their God-given potential and be released from the poverty that has trapped their families for generations.
As a sponsor, you’ll also get to provide life-giving words of encouragement as you pray for the child you sponsor and send them messages.
