Day of Your Event

It’s the big day! Check off these steps along the way. We’re cheering for you!

Arrive early.

This ensures everything goes smoothly and you won’t feel rushed. Use the extra time to pray and ask God to move in your church family’s hearts to sponsor children.

Test your equipment.

If you’re showing a video or using slides, test them to avoid tech issues.

Set up your sponsorship table.

Follow the diagram on pages 9 and 10 of the Presentation Guide. Choose a high-traffic area and make sure you have plenty of pens for filling out forms.

Give your presentation.

You’ve got this! Speak from the heart, share your story, show the video. Then invite others to sponsor a child and point them to the sponsorship table after service.

Help people sponsor.

Head to your table after the service. When someone chooses a child to sponsor, they can either scan the QR code on the packet to sign up online or fill out the attached form, tear it off and leave it with you. The packet is theirs to keep.
