Karla is being raised by her grandmother in El Salvador. She has plenty of bad influences in her neighborhood, but Karla doesn’t have time for them. Instead, she focuses on soccer. She’s a natural. Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, Karla learned how to play the sport at her Compassion center. Now, she dreams of becoming an international soccer player. Her coach has even become a father figure to her. “I got interested in soccer by watching games on the television with my grandmother.
