12-Month Apprenticeship

As a young child in Kenya, Zachariah showed a talent for working with electronics. Coming from a single-parent family, however, he couldn’t afford the college fees to study to become an electrician. But because of the support of partners like you who gave the gift of a 12-month apprenticeship, Zachariah’s Compassion center provided him with the support and training that led him to open his own electronics business.

“I thank God that I was picked to join the Compassion program,” says Zachariah. “It has taken me many steps further than if I was on my own.”
